Story and Gameplay:
This game takes place during the Neo-feudal era of Japan, and the story is as follows: a warrior has attacked this empire and conquered many of Japan’s states. Now, we must reclaim these cities from him throughout the game.
That’s why you must attack and seize the various villages and regions of Japan.
During the game, we roll 7 dice simultaneously, and if the symbols on our dice match the symbols on the card, we can bring that card toward us, meaning we’ve captured it.
Our cards have a series of designs on the back, and those with the same design are considered a city, or in other words, a state. When you completely acquire the cards of a state, your opponent can no longer attack those areas and take them from you.
When arranging playing cards, we place the cards related to each state next to each other.
Some of our cards have numbers on them, and some have them on the back. The numbers on the score card you get for capturing each card are the numbers on the back for when you get all the cards in a state for yourself. When you’ve captured all the cards for a state, you flip them over so your opponents can’t attack those cities.
There are symbols on all the cards that we have to perform by rolling the dice (just be careful, we can only match one element with the symbol on our dice each time we roll). If the German element was on both the dice and the card, we would place that die on the element on the card and roll the remaining dice again to get the other card symbols.
In some parts of the game, after rolling the dice, you might realize that the card you chose doesn’t match the symbols on your dice. In this situation, you remove one die from your dice and roll the remaining dice again.
On most cards, a samurai helmet symbol is located in the upper left corner. This symbol is used when you decide to take possession of the card your opponent has. For example, suppose you have one card from a state with two cards, and your opponent has the other. To win the entire state, you must take your opponent’s card. To do this, in addition to the symbols that are usually on the card, you also need to get the red symbol on the left on your dice in order to be able to take the card your opponent has from them.
